I’m David Mount, a Christian real estate agent, follower of Jesus, and Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES) serving Northern Virginia for 12+ years. My Christian faith isn’t a marketing line; it shapes how I serve every client. I never set out to be a real estate agent, but I’ve always been drawn to helping people. After starting my career in the federal government, I realized that while the work was stable, it didn’t fulfill my desire to make a real, tangible impact in people’s lives. My first attempts in real estate investing and wholesaling taught me valuable lessons about aligning work with my strengths and values. A conversation with a friend encouraged me to get my real estate license, and I began part-time while still in my government role. Even with the challenge of working nights and weekends, I loved helping people find the right place to live.
That passion—and a sense of calling—led me to take the leap into real estate full-time without a backup plan. Nearly a decade later, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions of my life. I’ve had the privilege of guiding hundreds of clients in Northern Virginia through buying, selling, upsizing, and relocating. For me, real estate is not about houses—it’s about people. I’m there to listen, offer sound advice, and skillfully negotiate on their behalf.
My faith shapes my work, giving me opportunities to serve, encourage, and even pray with clients during important life transitions.
